8 Tips to Save, Earn & Give Back on Your Grocery Shopping
I have become completely and totally addicted to sour dough bread and I'm making it every week. My latest was lemon blueberry. It is delicious!
What does this have to do with save, earn and give back? Well, everything!
I needed some lemons and blueberries for my bread. So, of course, I went to the grocery store.
Here are your savings, cash back, earning, giving back tips for today.
#1 Be sure you're using your grocery store's app to download any digital coupons you can use.
The first thing I did was download the deals from the grocery store app, and it just so happened
that there were deals on lemons and blueberries last week. So boom, I saved!
#2 Become a member of the store's loyalty program for more savings.
Now of course, I also have my frequent buyer card for Safeway. So when I check out, I put that in and I save more money.
#3 Use a credit card where you get Cash Back on groceries.
I have another app which sometimes has deals at Safeway and I put my Amex Blue 5% cashback card on groceries in that app. And I also use it at checkout so I can get additional savings.
#4 On of my favorite apps sometimes has deals at Safeway where I shop, so I check that every week.
And then I start using more apps. I've got another app where I'd say I've gotten over $1,200 cash back.
#5 I take a picture of my receipt with another one of my favorite apps and get MORE Cash Back.
One of my favorite apps is an app where I take pictures of all my receipts and I get more cash back. So I did that.
#6 Redeem all of the rewards from these apps as Cash in my bank rather than for gift certificates
Then what I do is take all the money that cash back I get from those two cash back apps and instead of redeeming the money for gift certificates, I redeem it into my checking account.
#7 Use the GivBux app. I'm giving back to one of my favorite charities, without a dime coming out of my pocket
This is my all-time favorite app. So, I put that cash free cash (because it's all cash back) from my checking account (see number 6) into my favorite app where I buy other things I need at over 200,000 merchant locations and online (stores/restaurants/much more). When I do that, I get even more cash back.
And, and every time I use that app, not only am I getting more cash back, but I'm also donating to my favorite charity. I'm giving back!
