5 Things You Must Do to Grow Your Business

Building a business truly isn’t difficult.  It’s not hard.

It’s actually pretty darn simple.

AND… it takes daily consistent action.

Let’s break it down into simple action steps.

Here are the 5 Things You Must Do Daily to Grow Your Business

  • Generate Leads
  • Provide Value – Build the Know/Like/Trust Factor
  • Prospect – Have a Call-To-Action
  • Connect & Train Your Team Members
  • Raise Your Energy, Your Vibration

Let’s dig into each of these in more detail.

STEP #1:  Generate Leads

This is pretty basic.  Without people to talk to about your business, you don’t have a business.

You’ve got to be growing your audience every day.

Let’s be clear, I’m all about building online.  I don’t do old school belly-to-belly.

Been there. Done that. Never doing it again. 

There’s nothing wrong with it if you’re good at it and you love it.  But most people aren’t good at it, and they don’t love it.  And for me it’s way too slow.

You can’t build a team of over 5,000 people in 7 weeks and growing strong (which I’ve just done) with one-to-one communication.  You need to be able to communicate one-to-many.  That’s the beauty of building online, using social media and email marketing.

Where do you start?

You start by doing something every single day to generate new leads online.

LinkedIn and YouTube are my absolute favorite platforms. And it doesn’t matter what platform you use.

QUESTION:  Are you doing something every day to create new connections, new friends, new subscribers, new followers?

___  YES        ___  NO

STEP #2:  Provide Value & Create the Know/Like/Trust Factor

This is all about building a relationship with your audience.

I do this one-to-many.

There aren’t enough hours in the day for me to get on a zoom call one-on-one to share this information with every person who is going to watch this video, listen to this podcast, or read this article.  That would be thousands of hours!

But I can provide tons of value by sharing information, giving tips, tools and inspiration to people via a whole variety of platforms and media.

When you do this people start to follow you. 

The more they follow you, the more they feel like they know you.

The more they feel like they know you, the more they feel like they trust you.

You’re probably thinking…

“But how can I do this?  I’m not successful yet.  I haven’t built a big team. I haven’t made a lot of money.”

You just have to start.

You don’t have to be great to get started, but you do have to start to become great.

How do you start?

Start with my IRS system.

Invest time.

Research - Do research on Google or YouTube.  Learn how to do something.  Gather information.

Share.

Choose a platform you like.  It can be YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram.  It doesn’t mater.

Choose the medium you prefer – video, audio, or written content.

Choose the subject matter you want to provide value on.

It could be…

  • Healthy weight loss tips
  • Easy exercise routines
  • How to do something on Facebook
  • Information on cryptocurrency
  • Tips on how to grow your network marketing or affiliate marketing business
  • Tips on how to use LinkedIn
  • Passive income ideas

Share the information, ideas, or tips you’ve come up with.

This doesn’t have to be a 20 minute video, it could be 2 minutes.

It doesn’t have to be a full-blown blog post or article, it could be a simple post with an image.

QUESTION:  Are you doing something every day to provide value to your audience?

___  YES        ___  NO

STEP #3:  Prospect – Have a Call-To-Action

Great.  You’re building an audience by growing your connections and doing your lead generation.  And you’re providing value to your audience and consequently building a relationship and the know/like/trust factor.

Now you have monetize that.

This is where you have a call to action in 95% of what you’re putting out there.

After you’ve provided value, you ask your prospect to take action.

You can do this in a variety of ways.  You can…

  • Provide a link to get people to opt-in to a free guide for more information
  • Provide a link to get more information on your product or service
  • Ask people to register for a free webinar, master class, or opportunity call
  • Ask people to join your Facebook group
  • Ask people to subscribe to your YouTube channel
  • Provide a link to book a call with you
  • Provide a link where they can purchase your product or service

Without a call to action, you will never grow your business.

You have to tell people exactly what next step you want them to take.

QUESTION:  Are you doing something every day with a call to action?

STEP #4:  Connect & Train Your Team Members

If you’re serious about building your business, it requires that you connect with your team members regularly and provide training and resources to your team members.

The easier you make it for your team members to follow these 5 things you need to do to grow your business the faster your business will grow.

If you’re not yet in a position where you feel like you can do team training calls, be sure you’ve got your team members plugged into some kind of training that’s going to help them grow their businesses.

If you’re part of any of my teams, you know I provide my team members with tons of training, tools and resources to use to grow their businesses.

You can provide…

  • Pre-done social media posts
  • PowerPoint slides that they can use to do videos of their own opportunity calls
  • Email copy they can send to their lists
  • Recorded videos they can share with prospects
  • Messages they can use on social media

QUESTION:  Are you doing something every day to connect with and train your team members?

STEP #5:  Raise Your Energy, Your Vibration

You can be doing all the prospecting in the world and following each of the four previous steps, but if you’re in a low energetic state, if the vibration you’re in is low, you’ll be spinning your wheels.

You can raise your vibration every day by doing really simple things.

  • Start off your day with being happy, thankful and grateful.
  • Decide that today is the best day of your life and look for any tiny piece of evidence that it is.  This could be as simple as having an amazing cup of tea.
  • Get outside in the sunshine.
  • Do some deep breathing exercises.
  • Exercise.
  • Meditate/pray.
  • Do yoga.
  • Spend 2 minutes just loving yourself and your life.

Of all 5 steps this is the most important and should be number one.

Raising your vibration is really about having an awareness practice and being aware of when you start to spiral downward with frustration, stress, discouragement, worry, etc.  And as soon as you’re aware of your energetic state, shift it.
