One Thing Top Earners Do…PLUS the 30-30-30-10 Rule you need to know to implement it.
Do you know the one thing top earners do, that other people don't?
It's something that really sets them apart...
If you live in an urban area you see it all the time with real estate agents, lawyers, sometimes even doctors and accountants.
Their names and their faces are all over billboards, bus shelters, and sometimes even TV ads.
And whether you like 'em or not...
The masters of this art are the Kardashians.
The art of the personal brand.
Top earners in Network Marketing all brand themselves first.
Let's face it, network marketing companies come and go.
Teams come and go.
But when you brand yourself first...
And you learn the 30-30-30-10 Rule of "edutainment" for social media...
You have a power-base that will keep you going through the good times and the more lean times. This base is a base of avid fans.
Russell Brunson, in his book, Expert Secrets (which I highly recommend), talks about being a "charismatic leader or an attractive character". He quotes Jay Abraham as saying "People are silently begging to be led".
In my experience, this is totally true.
Brunson gives 3 rules to become a charismatic leader:
- RULE #1: Become an attractive character, and live the life your audience wishes they could live.
- RULE #2: Maintain absolute certainty.
- RULE #3: Don't be boring.
I can't go into all three rules here, but let's dig in a bit to #3.
The 30-30-30-10 Rule
I'm going to give you my 30-30-30-10 Rule which will keep you from being "boring".
If you're going to effectively use social media today to build your business, you need to realize that you're in the "Edutainment" business.
I learned a long time ago that approximately 30% of your audience is looking to be inspired. About 30% wants to be informed or educated. About 30% want to be entertained. And 10% just don't care.
The last 10% will either love you no matter what, or hate you no matter what.
In order to build a significant base of avid fans you need to be prolific.
You need to be present on a platform frequently and consistently... as in DAILY.
You need to be providing value.
And you'll want to deliver that value through inspirational stories and quotes, information, facts, statistics, research, education, and through entertaining anecdotes.
When you mix up your content and hit each of the three categories - inspiration, education and entertainment - regularly, you'll be satisfying the largest number of people and ideally turning them into avid fans.
And to meet the requirements of Brunson's third rule...
When you mix it up you won't be boring.
