Tricycles, Facebook, & Lance Armstrong
I was driving to a meeting the other day...
When I heard it again.
And it really hit me...
Because it's so true.
It was an ad on the radio, and I can't even remember what it was for...
But it was good.
The ad was talking about a Tour de France champion on a tricycle.
Imagine a world class athlete on a tricycle racing against a twelve-year-old on a 10-speed bike.
No matter how good the Tour de France Champion is...
If he's on a tricycle he won't beat a twelve-year-old on a 10-speed.
It made me think...
It's the same way in business.
And I got to thinking especially about Facebook.
You see Facebook has gotten so crowded...
Even the best of the best have seen a big change in how many people are seeing their posts and ads, and how many people are responding to their messages.
Facebook has become like that tricycle...
And up against LinkedIn, which is like the 10 speed...
Well, it just doesn't have a chance...
At least in my book.
If you're not armed with the best tools in your business...
